Public Companies time-series

This annual series contain articles on income, expenditures, results, transfers with the Central Government, investment, production, and employment of public enterprises. It was developed as part of the CSIC-funded research and development project “Empresas Públicas en Uruguay ("Public enterprises in Uruguay" (2011-2013). Researchers Federico Araya, Natalia Mario, Martina Querejeta, Phillipe Rimolli, and Daniela Vázquez participated in the Economic History group project.

The coordinators were Magdalena Bertino and Milton Torrelli.
These series are presented at current and constant prices and were systematized by Federico Araya in collaboration with Magdalena Bertino and Milton Torrelli. In addition to the data, the files include methodological notes detailing the main sources and conceptual and methodological criteria applied in the creation of these series.
