Continuous Household Survey (CHS)

This space contains information and documentation resulting from the Compatibility of the Continuous Household Survey (ECH) of the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The Inequality and Poverty and Labor Economics sections of the Instituto de Economía are working on a project to make the CHS compatible. The general objective is the generation, systematization, analysis and validation of information contained in the CHS. The following link contains methodological materials, programs, activities, and publications linked to the CHS databases. The compatible databases are free to download and may be obtained by filling out the contact form available in this link. The methodological documents outline the critical conceptual and methodological criteria used to make the CHS modules compatible from 1981 to 2018.
